How we source and update answers
This site is an independent study resource. USCIS publications are the source of truth for civics questions and accepted answers.
Question banks
The site uses the USCIS 2008 list of 100 questions and the USCIS 2025 list of 128 questions. The question banks in this site were checked against those publications on September 29, 2026. The filing-date guide explains which version to use.
Answers that can change
Names of officeholders, political party answers, and some state-specific answers may change. Dated answers on individual question pages are study snapshots, not guarantees for a later interview. Check USCIS test updates, the official officeholder source linked beside an answer, and the state answer helper close to the interview.
Our update process
- Compare the two local question banks with the current USCIS publications when a new bank or correction is announced.
- Verify changing federal answers against USCIS updates and the linked official government source before changing a dated answer.
- Review state answers against official state or national government directories and update the check date when verified.
- Update the relevant page, source link, and check date together; rebuild the static site and check internal links before publishing.
The latest recorded check in this source is September 29, 2026. There is no automatic live refresh, so a dated answer can become stale. The educator handout should be reviewed again if USCIS rules change.
This site does not determine immigration eligibility or score an official interview.
