Your Form N-400 filing date determines the civics test version. The interview date does not change that choice. Check which citizenship test applies to you using your filing date. If your interview is in 2026, use your filing date; there is no separate 2026 question bank.

If you filed before October 20, 2025, study the 2008 civics test: 100 possible questions, up to 10 asked, 6 correct to pass. If you filed on or after October 20, 2025, study the 2025 civics test: 128 possible questions, up to 20 asked, 12 correct to pass.
